Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a quick daily overview of your academic status. It's designed to help you see what needs attention right now.
What's on the Dashboard#
Stats Cards#
At the top, you'll see summary cards showing:
| Card | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Total Assignments | All assignments in the system |
| Due Today | Assignments due today |
| Due This Week | Assignments due in the next 7 days |
| Missing | Assignments past due with no submission |
| Graded | Assignments that have been graded |
| Average Grade | Your overall grade average |
Upcoming Due Dates#
A list of assignments coming up soon, sorted by due date:
- Shows the next 10 assignments
- Displays course name and due date/time
- Color-coded by urgency:
- Red = Due today or overdue
- Orange = Due tomorrow
- Normal = Due later
Click any assignment to see more details.
Course Breakdown#
See your performance by course:
- Each course shows:
- Course name
- Number of assignments
- Current grade (if available)
- Missing assignments count
Click a course to filter and see only its assignments.
Missing Assignments#
A focused section showing assignments you've missed:
- Only shows if you have missing work
- Lists each missing assignment with:
- Title
- Course
- Original due date
- Points lost
Tip: Address missing assignments first - they can significantly impact your grade.
Recent Activity#
Shows recent changes to your assignments:
- New grades received
- Status changes
- Recently added assignments
- Recent Canvas syncs
Using the Dashboard#
Daily Check-In#
We recommend checking your Dashboard daily:
- Morning: See what's due today
- After class: Check if any new assignments synced
- Evening: Review progress and plan tomorrow
Quick Actions#
From the Dashboard, you can quickly:
- Click an assignment to see details
- Jump to the full Assignments list
- Start a new study plan
- Check sync status

Customizing Your View#
Filter by Course#
Click a course in the sidebar to see Dashboard stats for just that course.
Time Period#
The Dashboard shows:
- "Today" for due dates
- "This Week" for upcoming
- All time for totals
Tips for Success#
- Start with missing work - These hurt your grade the most
- Check "Due Today" first - Know what's urgent
- Review after Canvas sync - New assignments may appear
- Use the grade average - Track your overall progress
